TUTTOFOOD 2025: A Strategic Hub for Expansion into the Asia-Pacific Market

TUTTOFOOD 2025:

TUTTOFOOD 2025 is positioning itself as a key event for the Food & Beverage sector, featuring a strong international presence and a strategic focus on Asian and Pacific markets. According to data presented during the Japanese leg of the worldwide roadshow “The Italian Aperitivo,” organized by TUTTOFOOD Milano 2025, 12% of the international companies participating in the event will hail from the Asia-Pacific Area, including China, confirming this region’s importance for the growth of Italian agri-food exports.

Asia-Pacific Market Growth and Opportunities for Made in Italy

The Asia-Pacific area is establishing itself as a market of significant interest for Italy and the world, with consistently growing demand. According to NielsenIQ, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in this area saw a +2.7% increase in value, supported by a rise in sales volume that shifted from -0.9% in 2023 to +2.5% in 2024. This trend is driven by a slowdown in inflation on unit prices (from +2.6% to +0.2%), making volume growth a key element for 2025.

Within the food sector, in particular, “fresh food” is the industry that recorded the strongest growth globally, with a 3% volume increase in Asia-Pacific. Among the categories of Italian products generating growing interest in this area, powdered and bean coffee saw a +2.3% volume increase, followed by dried pasta (+5.8%), olive oil (+6.1%), and tomato concentrate (+8.1%).

“The Italian Aperitivo” Roadshow: A Global Showcase for TUTTOFOOD

The international roadshow “The Italian Aperitivo,” developed by Fiere di Parma and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA/ICE), is an initiative aimed at promoting the event on an international scale and consolidating the presence of foreign exhibitors and buyers. This promotional tour has stopped in strategic cities like New York, Paris, Dubai, and Tokyo, coinciding with the world’s most important sector-specific trade fairs, offering industry professionals exclusive networking and business opportunities.

The Japanese stop, hosted at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo during Foodex Japan, represented a crucial meeting occasion for Italian companies and Asian stakeholders. The event saw the participation of Japanese entrepreneurs, international buyers, Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs), journalists, and stakeholders, welcomed by Ambassador Gianluigi Benedetti and the CEO of Fiere di Parma, Antonio Cellie.

During the meeting, the participation of a large Japanese delegation at the fair was confirmed, thanks to collaboration with the local offices of ITA Tokyo and Koelnmesse GmbH.

New Format for TUTTOFOOD 2025

The 2025 edition of TUTTOFOOD will see the participation of over 25% international exhibitors and will welcome approximately 90,000 visitors, including more than 3,000 international top buyers. For the first time, the event will be jointly organized by Fiere di Parma and Koelnmesse, introducing an innovative format featuring interactive technologies, immersive experiences, and dedicated areas for new food & beverage trends.

Thanks to the strong presence of international buyers and companies, along with the growing interest from Asia-Pacific markets, TUTTOFOOD 2025 confirms its status as an unmissable event for the global food & beverage industry, uniting tradition and innovation in a space dedicated to international business opportunities.
